Toys for Tots Drive at Car Dealerships in South Jersey Considered Great Success
RK Auto Group, a leading auto group composed of three superb car dealerships in South Jersey, is constantly striving to give back to the community. This past holiday season, the leading auto group took part in Toys for Tots, an organization that donates new toys to children and families who cannot afford them during the holidays.
The holiday season is a great time to give and help those in need, and RK Auto Group and their three car dealerships in South Jersey took advantage of the opportunity to do so by becoming an official Toys for Tots drop-off location this past December.
Coordinated by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, the Toys for Tots campaign aims to collect new, unwrapped toys. Businesses, schools and organizations across the nation hold the toy drives every year, and RK Auto Group is always thrilled to participate in the event! The collected toys are distributed as Christmas or holiday gifts to children in need in the surrounding community.
RK Auto Group’s Car Dealerships in South Jersey Contributed to Success of the 2011 Toys for Tots Drive
RK Auto Group is proud to be an active participant in the Toys for Tots campaign since 1999. Since the beginning of its involvement, the auto group has been a drop-off point. The 2011 toy drive for Toys for Tots was considered an accomplishment with about 100 toys collected and picked up. Overall, the event was considered a great success and RK is proud to take part in the annual event. The car dealerships in South Jersey are already looking forward to next years drive and hope to steadily increase their involvement with Toys for Tots.
The auto group couldn’t be happier thinking about the children and families whose holidays were brightened by their contributions. However, RK acknowledges that they couldn’t have done so without the help of their loyal customers and fans.
